Chapter 5 : The Story Continues

My Close Encounters : Chapter 5
The Story Continues

~ So where do I go from here? I could start by explaining my ideals and beliefs and so forth. Perhaps talk about my collection of Weird AL Yankovic CDs. I suppose it would be best if I just give a better introduction of myself, not as you really care, but I feel it would be appropriate.

~ Anyhow, let's get to the point. Aliens do exist or Watchers as I will shall refer to them from now on, and they are as real as you and I. I can not prove it scientifically but just look at all the evidences now, the booming media upon the subject. It's everywhere!!! At first I felt like Columbus trying to tell people the world was round. People just do not want to accept new doctrine. If a person back in the 1700's or even the 1800's would have been told about these computers, cars and airplanes we have now they would have scoffed and made fun of you. But the prophets knew it, especially Isaiah.

~ And he will lift up an Ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth; and behold, they shall come with speed swiftly; none shall be weary nor stumble among them. None shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken; Whose arrows shall be sharp, and all their bows bent, and their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind, their roaring like a lion. They shall roar like young lions; yea, they shall roar and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry away safe and none shall deliver. And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea; and if they look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof. (Isa.5 vs.26-30)

~ Now I know most people find it difficult getting through Isaiah and just put the scriptures aside- but I love it. Obviously he saw trains carrying passengers, planes picking up people, the arrows represent the front of the plane, the bent bows are the wings, the hoofs of the horses like flint are the trains' tracks and their wheels are pretty much explained, and trains and planes do roar pretty loud. I suppose the darkness in the heavens and on the land is just the exhaust they leave behind.

~ Back then when God showed prophets our day they could only use symbolism and similar representations because they never saw anything like that before.

~ Well, I suppose I should give you an introduction of myself. It would only be proper. I have lived in Pennsylvania all my life. I have been a Mormon since I was eight years of age but I do not believe I was truly converted until fourteen. I am now nine-teen years old. I did truly desire most of my life to be an artist, possibly work for Walt Disney in computer animation.

~ The last two years I wanted to go to a Mormon college and study religion but it was too far away and I did not have enough credits. I graduated from the Seminary program with straight A's, but unfortunately I had to take home study because I lived too far away from the church. I grew up most of my life being the only Mormon in my schools.

~ My hobbies and interests are primarily computers, though I do have a nice comic book collection, but I grew out of that phase. I am single and still live with my parents. I have planned to go on a two year mission for the church and I am saving money right now. I hope I do not have to sell my computer, even though it will be hard for us to part when I leave her.

~ Nothing really significant happened during the next couple years after I had seen my first UFO encounter. I continued to live a normal life or semi-normal. I still had a problem of being shy and withdrawn from the world. I remember the neighborhood kids used to pick on me a lot and sometimes beat up on me. The worst time is when one of their older brothers hit me with his car. The following weeks, gangs of kids would follow me home from the bus stop threatening me and making fun of me for running into his car. They were all a bunch of rednecks, and I used to jokingly tell them I was an alien and would get my buddies after them at night.

~ As the years went on I still had not found any answers to what the UFOs or the watchers were. I studied deep church doctrine at an early age and I suppose that is why I can handle it now. I still remember staying up late at night reading through the Bible looking for explanations. The only thing I found which sounded like a UFO story was in the Book of Ezekiel in which he saw some strange craft with creatures and wheels. He explained that the chariot or whatever it was had the power to stand his body up when it spoke to him and controlled his movements. Now it may sound strange but I never believed that God would come to a man in a spaceship. I believed that the primitive people back then believed any strange or marvelous thing was from God. Even the very elect can be deceived. Ezekiel even talks about how the personage in the chariot commanded him to eat human dung, now does that sound like a thing God would make a person do, that is disgusting and unclean.

~ One night though I woke up in my bedroom and saw a very pretty girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes dressed in a white robe sitting in a white chair writing something in a book. I was not scared. I asked who she was and she said I am your sister. Now I know that when I was two my mother had a still-born baby girl, but I never thought she had become an angel. I did not even talk to her when I saw her. I just said Oh, okay. and went back to sleep.

~ There were times when I doubted my beliefs in the church, feeling that it was inadequate and that if it was the true church of God then it would be able to tell me what aliens were. I continued to search myself for the meaning of it all. The next spiritual experience I had was about two years later. My great-grandmother had just died and I went to her funeral. As I stood at her casket I looked across the graveyard to my family's car and I saw a young woman in a red dress smiling at me. I did not know who it was but she looked familiar. I could not figure out why she was smiling at the funeral. I looked down to place a flower on the coffin before it was lowered into the earth, and when I looked up the woman was gone and I could not find her anywhere. Later that night I went to my grandmother's house. I went upstairs to go to the bathroom. I passed by my uncle's bedroom on the way out and stopped to look at a lot of old photograph's that were black and white hanging on the wall. I came across a picture of a young woman with her children. It was the same woman I saw earlier that day at the graveyard! I ran down the stairs and asked my father who it was. He said Why, that is your great-grandmother who just died. I got upset and said I saw her today at the funeral standing beside our car. My father believed me, but I was in total amazement and did not know why she would only show herself to me. As I grew older I began to realize why, and that I was being prepared for greater things...
